What are you reading?

I have a mentor in my life who always ask, “What are you reading?” She has been asking me this same question for twenty plus years. The problem with this question is that I really don’t like to read. When she first started asking I would cringe. Then I began to force myself to read simply because I know it is a good thing to do … kinda like eating vegetables. Without my realizing it, I have developed a habit of reading. In fact, I now feel as though no day is complete without at least a little bit of reading. My life has been blessed by this routine question. In reality, it was more than a question, it was a challenge to my personal disciplines. So, what are you reading?
