Somebody pass me a fan, I’m sweating…

Well, not exactly.  Although 44 degrees is cake after 24.  Just sayin’.

I went to Michigan to visit my sister and brother in law.  Last fall, they packed up their place in Oklahoma and ventured north to Michigan where they are the youth pastors at Solid Rock of Lenawee.  Solid Rock is one church with two campuses…needless to say, they go to a lot of church.  A lot of awesome church.  I so enjoyed meeting the guys in their groups and catching a glimpse of the vision of Solid Rock.

No, my sister and I did not intend to wear Michigan colors. And I sort of forgot to get a picture of my brother-in-law so that’s him singing. Bro. Votow, Missionary to Asia, was there for one service and was absolutely incredible.  Missionaries have amazing faith.

We may have also ate some food. Or a lot. I couldn’t say.

Not pictured: the amazing pumpkin pancakes, made by Stephanie and Britney. Or the amazing queso blanco. Or the…well, yeah, we ate a lot of food.

We visited downtown Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan (hospital and campus).

I went sledding for the first time.  It was a blast.  I recommend it.

I also now recommend good winter gloves.
