Something New in 2022

Posted by: in Rachel Skirvin on January 7th

We are exactly one week into 2022, and it already feels strangely similar to last year. This pandemic has seemed to drag on much longer than many of us anticipated. I think we all imagined that by this point, there would have been some sort of reprieve. All I can say is that even with the aggravation that continues, God is still in control. It may not feel like it, but He still has a plan and a purpose in the middle of this mayhem.

This generation is living in unprecedented times. The challenges that you are facing are big, and they are scary. Not only are you having to navigate the storms of high school, college, life changes, jobs, relationships, or whatever your lion may be; but you are also faced with a whole lot of tough stuff happening in the world. We get it. We understand, and we want to remind you that you are never alone.

This year, we as a team here at Youth Ministries, want to be there for you and remind you that we are all in this together. We stand with you and are praying for you. We know it is not easy, but we also know that God is for you. Please do not lose heart. Keep the faith. Stand strong. God is doing a new thing, in this new season.

We are excited for the year ahead and promise to do our best to share content that helps you along your journey. You are going to be okay. Please let us know if there is anything you would like us to consider writing about, or if you are interested in writing. God’s got this, friends. We believe in you all and love you! Happy New Year!

“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19
