Fall Fashion

Posted by: in Fashion on October 18th

Fall is one of my absolute favorite seasons! I have to admit a lot of it has to do with the fun fashion you can wear in the comfortable temperatures. It’s not too hot to wear cooler weather accessories like scarves and hats, and it’s not too cold to cover up your fall ensemble with a bulky jacket.

Men and women alike, I’ve whipped up some fall fashion ideas that can help you get started with sprucing up your closet for the next month or so of pleasurable weather! Just a little hint—you don’t have to go on a large shopping spree every season when new fashion hits the stores. Instead, you can buy two or three key pieces that are interchangeable and work as basics with pieces you already own. Now check out three simple key components that might be a great addition to your closet.

A basic bottom will go with many fall sweaters and tops you’ve collected through the years. Warm and earth tones are easy to find this season. They’re in every department store and mall. They remind me of the color of leaves when they start changing. We’re talking about burnt oranges, deep reds, olive greens, browns, and tans. Girls can find great skirts in mustard yellow and wool materials while guys can grab pants in subtle hues of fall color.

A jean shirt is something both men and women can wear! It’s a great shirt to throw on top of those fall colored bottoms. Girls can throw in a pair of cheetah flats while guys can wear any colored bottoms you prefer, including a basic khaki. They basically act like jean pants or jean skirts but flipped. They go with anything!

Elbow patches have to be one of the neatest looks of fall. You can find them on your cardigans and blazers for men and women alike. They have a very preppy and sophisticated feel. You can dress these blazers down with jean bottoms for semi-casual look, or dress them up with slacks for men and a more tailored skirt and heels for women. You might be surprised how many outfits you can incorporate this piece into!
